·        Discover a wild place (or places) for yourself

·        Explore the wild place

·        Conserve - take some personal responsibility

·        Share your experiences

To obtain the first level of award, Discovery, the participants must complete a total of 4 days (at least 28 hours) of commitment. Most of this time will be spent on various outdoor activities, however part of the sharing element of the award will be completed on their own or within the youth group/ school environment.
